It's the Slobs vs. the Snobs at the exclusive, blue-blood Bushwood Country Club. Judge Smails tries desperately to maintain the dignity of the institution, even as boorish outsiders like real estate developer Al Czervik (Rodney Dangerfield) intrude on the serenity of the place.
Caddyshack is a rare comic treat that brings together some of the most relevant comic voices of the era. Written by Brian Doyle-Murray, brother of Bill, Caddyshack is crude and obnoxious and has undoubtedly influenced modern comedy filmmakers.
